The J-40H/T encoder is designed for narrow installation spaces, with a compact 40 mm die-cast housing. Available as a blind (H) or through (T) hollow shaft version, supporting up to 8 mm shaft diameter.

It features a shatter-proof disk, temperature- and aging-compensated LED, robust ASIC design, and surge-resistant electronics.

Output options include HV, OC, and TTL/RS422, operating from 5 to 26 VDC. Max frequency: 100 kHz (50 kHz for OC); recommended cable length: up to 30 m (10 m for OC).

Mounting via SF6 double-sided flexible flange, with IP50 or IP54 protection, and temperature range up to 100 °C.
