The J-58A encoder is designed for general industrial use. It features a 58 mm die-cast body, high radial and axial load capacity, shatter-proof polycarbonate disk, aging- and temperature-compensated LED, and robust ASIC circuitry resistant to voltage surges.

Its output stage supports long-distance cable driving. Available with HV, HTL, OC, and TTL outputs, 5 to 26 VDC input, IP50 or IP65 protection, and up to 100 °C operating temperature.

Shaft sizes: 6, 8, or 10 mm. Mounting via clamping flange (CF). Wide range of connectors and glands. Up to 10,000 PPR.
