The Neuron Open/Closed Sensor wirelessly transmits the open/closed status to the Neuron Cloud via the Neuron Gateway. Designed for long-term performance, the sensor can operate for up to 10 years thanks to its integrated long-life battery.

The sensor checks the open/closed status every 3 seconds. When a status change is detected, it transmits data immediately. If no change occurs, it still sends updates every 2 minutes to ensure continuous, real-time monitoring.
